Community-focused Autism Services in Lake County
Growing Minds ABA Therapy Center, NFP is dedicated to reducing barriers to autism services in underserved communities in Illinois. Care is delivered by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and family support professionals who work alongside families and their child’s wider care team.

ABA THARAPY EXPLAINED
Community-focused Autism Services in Lake County
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a behavioral approach to teaching and support. A BCBA completes an assessment, then works with the family to set goals that matter in everyday life — things like communicating a need, following a morning routine or playing with a sibling.

Skills are taught in small, achievable steps using positive reinforcement.

Progress is tracked with session data, and plans are adjusted as the child grows.

Caregivers are involved throughout so strategies carry over into daily routines.
ABA is not appropriate for every child. Services are individualized based on each child’s needs, strengths, goals and clinical assessment.
